I selected two pictures to demonstrate that we repeated our experiment two times.
First, is important to say that we prepare bread, we did 11 samples, 4 for the first experiment, 4 for the second and 3 for the last.
Bread recipe
- 2 cups of flour
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Recipe of the yeast
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder (yeast)
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
The first experiment was of variation in the amount of yeast that we apply to each bread. In the first variation we use 1 teaspoon of yeast, in the second 1/2, in the third 2 and in the fourth we don´t use yeast. Our conclusion was that when we use more amount of yeast, the bread are going to grow more.
Our second experiment was the preparation of the yeast with sugar variations. In the first experiment we use 1 teaspoon, in the second 1/2, in the third 2 and in the fourth we don´t use sugar. Our conclusion was that when we use more amount of sugar in the yeast, the bread are going to grow more.
Our last experiment was the changes in water temperature where yeast is dissolved. In the first experiment we use water at room temperature, in the second we use hot water and in the third we use cold water. Our conclusion was that when the temperature is higher the bread are going to grow up and going to taste better.
